September 16, 2002: Monkey Business, Part 1: The Camden household gets a new member as the WB's top-rated program kicks off its seventh season with Part 1 of a two-part episode. Gone from the nest is big brother Matt (Barry Watson, who left the series at the end of last season), but his garage apartment is now occupied by Buffalo cop Kevin Kinkirk (George Stults), who continues to pursue the elusive Lucy. Elsewhere, Mary tries to keep a new relationship under wraps while insisting that she's over ex-beau Ben (Stults' real-life brother Geoff). And Robbie, who has been lamenting the departure of girlfriend Joy, may also be ready for romance when he runs into an old classmate.

September 23, 2002: Monkey Business Deux, Part 2: Simon starts a dating service that begins to make money until Cecilia (Ashlee Simpson) tells Eric about the endeavor; Mary considers moving out of the Camden house and relocating to Florida with her new beau.

Ben reads Lucy's diary, which causes a problem between Lucy and Kevin. Later, Ben and Ruthie meet with the vice principal (Cindy Williams) after Ben has a dispute with one of Ruthie's classmates.

October 7, 2002: Bowling for Eric: Eric needs to undergo immediate open-heart surgery and he falters when he tries to break the news to his family, which leads to a tense night of bowling for the Camdens. Meanwhile, Robbie gets a traffic ticket and asks Kevin to fix it for him, but the police officer flatly refuses.

October 14, 2002: Heart of the Matter: Eric undergoes heart surgery and dreams that he is Elvis Presley performing in a club, while the rest of the Camdens anxiously wait in the hospital for word of his condition. Meanwhile, Lucy tells Robbie that she is ready to marry Kevin; and Simon complains to Annie about the absence of Matt and Mary during their father's health crisis.

October 21, 2002: Regarding Eric: Eric is eager to return to work following his heart surgery but his doctors want him to take it easy, so Annie asks the kids to seek his counsel in order to make him feel needed. Meanwhile, Kevin learns that Ben is planning to extend his temporary stay in Glenoak.

November 4, 2002: Gabrielle Come Blow Your Horn: Eric's father sends an obnoxious woman (Phyllis Diller) to the Camden home to assist Annie with household chores while Eric recovers from surgery, but Annie doesn't want her help. Meanwhile, Lucy thinks Roxanne is picking out the engagement ring that Kevin will offer to Lucy.

November 11, 2002: Peer Pressure: Eric and Rabbi Glass set out to spy on the new minister (Jeremy London) in Eric's church; Ruthie baby-sits the twins and gets a phone call from a boy who asks if he can visit with her. Meanwhile, Lucy asks Simon to dig up some information on Roxanne during his ride-along with her and Kevin in their patrol car. The episode was written by former castmate Barry Watson.

November 18, 2002: Lost Souls: Reverend Camden considers another calling when the ministry begins to lose its appeal. Eric's plan to abandon his religious duties is hatched after a new neighbor mistakenly calls him Mr. Camden. Fed up with everyone bringing their problems to him, Eric becomes more and more apathetic toward his family and community. Annie bears the brunt of her husband's indifference as she tries to get him to spend some quality time alone with her. Meanwhile, Kevin recruits Simon and Cecilia to help him find Lucy who never showed up at the pool hall to meet the cop for a date.

November 25, 2002: A Cry for Help: Eric explores career options and lands a job at a college radio station with more responsibility than he expected. The ersatz entertainer dreams of spinning records but soon discovers that his producer (R&B singer Usher) wants him to host a talk show. That proves a daunting challenge: His first shift requires him to field a call from a suicidal young man. Meanwhile, Ruthie tries to figure out how to break up with a pesky boyfriend without hurting his feelings; and Simon invites a despondent Ben to join him and Cecilia at a club for teens.

January 6, 2003: Sunday: Annie looks over a manuscript that Eric is writing but is disappointed to learn that the work is not a sermon for church; Simon and Cecilia discuss having sex for the first time and naively share their plan with their parents. Elsewhere, Lucy tries to spy on Roxanne and Chandler during their first date.

Lucy accepts a date with Chandler's brother Sid (Jason London) in order to make Kevin jealous enough to propose to her. Elsewhere, Annie finds a pack of cigarettes in Simon's bedroom.

February 10, 2003: I Love Lucy: Valentine's Day brings romantic dejection rather than delight for Lucy in this charming installment of the family drama. The melancholy maiden is unenthusiastic about her date with Kevin. She's worried that the enchanted evening won't end with her beau finally proposing on bended knee. Of course, it also doesn't help matters when Kevin's mom (Bo Derek) drops in. In other holiday developments, Eric and Annie arrange a lovers' tryst at a hotel, while Roxanne (Rachel Blanchard) is bothered and bewildered when she arrives for an outing with Chandler and overhears him practicing a proposal of his own. He's apparently bewitched by her — after just a handful of dates.

February 17, 2003: Stand Up: Annie takes charge of arranging a big event in Lucy's honor without regard for her daughter's wishes. Chandler meets Roxanne's father, a cop who tells him to stop seeing his daughter. Elsewhere, Simon sees a friend of Cecilia's father take money from the company's petty-cash fund.

February 24, 2003: High Anxiety: Eric is nervous about returning to the church and performing his first service, while Simon and Cecilia try to take their minds off sex by planning platonic activities. The nuptials promise to reunite the Camdens with Mary and Matt (Barry Watson, in his first appearance on the show since his Hodgkin's disease diagnosis). But when a nasty thunderstorm rolls through the region, the airports are closed and Kevin's family gets stranded in Las Vegas. In an attempt to help out, Chandler and Roxanne drive to Sin City to pick them up, while a nervous Lucy fears that few people will be able to attend and considers postponing the wedding.

April 28, 2003: That Touch of Bink: Eric and Chandler begin a fund-raising drive to pay for repairs to the church, turning to an unpopular parishioner for help; Ruthie's friend Peter skips school because he doesn't like his mother's new boyfriend. Meanwhile, the twins steal money from their parents' bedroom and from a coffee can in the kitchen.

May 5, 2003: Dick: Peter is unhappy that his mother is planning to marry a man they hardly know; Chandler counsels a couple who want to marry but have several issues to deal with first. Meanwhile, Roxanne and Eric want Chandler to reconcile with his ailing father before it's too late.

May 12, 2003: Life and Death: The Camden clan faces a dizzying array of family issues in the first of a two-part episode that sets up next week's season finale. Eric flies to New York in an attempt to repair the rift between Chandler and his ailing father, and he's surprised by the reception he receives. While in the Empire State, the reverend also spends some time with Sarah and Matt, who secretly wonder if Sarah is pregnant. Back on the home front, Simon worries about the odd way that Ruthie has been acting; and Lucy invites a college friend (Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski) to stay in the Camden home for a few days.

May 19, 2003: Life and Death, Part 2: Weighty matters confront the Camdens as the seventh season ends with the conclusion of a two-part episode. Still in New York, Eric goes toe to toe with Chandler's father (Dan Lauria) in an attempt to get the dying man to agree to meet with his son before it's too late. Meanwhile, confusion abounds at home, where Annie causes a stir by passing along some news about Matt and Sarah to Sarah's mother; and newlywed Lucy baffles her hubby with her erratic behavior as she secretly wonders if she's pregnant. In addition, Simon finds himself in a romantic quandary after agreeing to go to the prom with Christine (Tara Lipinski), a decision that leaves Cecilia fuming.
